Kalamunda Veterinary Clinic
We care for you and your pets

If your pet is booked in for an anaesthetic there’s no need to be concerned, modern anaesthetics and equipment have improved anaesthetic safety greatly in recent years.

We’re here to look after and care for your pets…and that’s what we do.

All of our patients are actively monitored by our registered veterinary nurse.

She is a dedicated theatre nurse, which means that her full attention is on your pet all of the way through the anaesthetic.

  • We use the latest and safest anaesthetic agents.

  • All of our patients are monitored with a Surgivet anaesthetic monitor to keep track of their blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, pulse and heart rate.

  • Another machine monitors respiration.

  • All of our patients are put on intravenous fluids to maintain their blood pressure.

  • They are kept warm throughout the procedure

  • Their recovery is closely monitored
